The Event
About:
The Summer Slam Log Jam is a fun community, summer kick off event hosted by the local St. Augustine loggers. This is a day about having fun on the beach with good friends, surfing, food and tunes in an effort to create an annual tradition of kicking our summers off right. This is not only a place for surfers to showcase their skills in the water but also a great way to get together with the log community and some rad local businesses.

Share the stoke: We want surfers of all levels to have a good time together in the water and to grow their interest in not only the longboarding community but the local businesses that make such events possible.
Keep it going: Create an annual event that everyone is stoked on- a fun way we can all kick off summer together, and what better way than by spending a day on the beach with homies?

Contest Details:
- We run an open jam format which allows contestants to surf as much as they want during a 1 hour “heat.”
- Contestants will be competing for categories as well as a spot in the top 10 finals (where an overall winner will be crowned taking home a cash prize).
- Categories include: best nose ride, best turn, best drop knee, best tandem ride, best lady slider, most stylish, most stoked, best wipeout and best surf photo from the day
